Tarbal still has his tail, though he doesn’t keep it wrapped around his waist like other saiyans do. Because of this, he was banished from the planet, and was able to survive the eventual destruction of his home world of Frieza. ![]() It ends with him being classified as a low-ranking saiyan, which is extremely embarrassing for King Vegeta. Dragon Ball Z The finished broadcast which makes it all the more strange that it never got a proper western release. It was the first piece of media to be released in the series after a decade. Vegeta’s brother Tarbal was introduced in Dragon Ball: The Return of Son Goku and Friends!, a film that never even got an English dubbed release. So when Vegeta’s brother was introduced to the series, it was a seriously promotional moment, even if it happened in a film that most people had never seen.
